Network Coworking space is situated within the Marlands Shopping Centre, Southampton, for Southampton City Council as a new business incubator hub, and operated by Barclays as their flagship Eagle Lab site.
An unoccupied 13000sq.ft internal shell on the second floor of the Centre was transformed by the HPW Interiors team (now Design Collaborative) into a flexible and collaborative space, with a modern, relaxing and welcoming design concept, appealing to creatives and tech graduates.
A variety of desk space was designed into the large open space to suit all styles of working, including informal soft seating, booths with TV's and connectivity for group work and meetings, 3 moveable pods. Glass fronted private offices look out onto the flexible working space, providing a sense of connectivity and inclusion.
The space also houses a Studio, specialist Maker Space and more formal Meeting Rooms. The open plan area has been designed so the furniture can be moved to accommodate large events, with kitchens and WC facilities provided at either end space.
